HalloweenTown - This is Halloween!
Halloween Horror Nights 2010

So, It's nowhere close to Halloween, except at Halloweentown.com of course, but I'm already getting the itch for Halloween Horror Nights 2010.

I started looking online for information and learned that 2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights. I'm betting the folks at Universal Studios will pull out all the stops this year to make this the best Halloween Horror Nights to date.

What do they have in store? Well the folks at Universal are keeping the lid on that but there are a few rumors and guesses floating around the web.

Here are some guesses/rumors about Halloween Horror Nights 2010:

1. Two Parks for Twice the Fun (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure)

2. Bringing back the Parade

4. Lord Voldemort will be going after Harry Potter.

4. The Rip Ride Rocket will be open.

5. There will be as many as a dozen haunted houses. A mixture of top houses from the past and new ideas.

6. Scare Zones will be doubled.

7. There will be Four Shows... including of course Bill & Ted's Excellent, but not so scary, Adventures.

8. Possible introduction of a new 13 and up age limit.
 
Halloween Costume comes in handy

Most of my Halloween Costumes go into the Halloween Box.

Most never see the light of day again but a select few make it out for an encore halloween performance either as a costume or as decoration on a blow up doll.

This week I actually got to hit the vault early.  That's right... halloween costumes in February.

I know what you are thinking.... Half way to Halloween Party? Nope... that would be April.

Masquerade Ball?  Nope... Nothing that fancy?

So what was the event? I'm some have guessed it already..... Fat Tuesday.

Yep, I got invited to a Fat Tuesday Party. I still haven't made it to the original in New Orleans.  :-(  And I was like the only one to dress up... or at least go all out... but no one would have expected anything else from me.

So what halloween costume came in so handy?  A Court Jester... complete with hat and tights (which were a little breezy for a cool night)

It all work so well I'm thinking, this years halloween costume of lederhosen will come in handy for Octoberfest.

Question is... what do I wear for RenFest this weekend?
 
In Memory of Jeff Rizzo

HalloweenTown.com is sad to announce the passing of Jeff Rizzo.

As many may know, Jeff a hallowen fanatic and former administrator of HalloweenTown.com.

Jeff passed away Thursday, January 7th 2010. In the words of long term friend David Bachman, "Jeff had been battling a life threatening illness since his early teens. Through a thousand drug therapies and major surgeries he kept on.  For 25 years he fought harder and was more cheerful and positive about life than anyone I know, than I could have ever been, right up to the end.  The disease ravaged his body - he was so very ill for so very long.  He is at peace now.

Please send a positive thought out for Jeffrey M. Rizzo - a man I am honored to call friend."
