My wife and I recently had an interesting trip to Key West.

Now I have been to Key West dozens of times. Usually it's for an event like Hemingway Days or Fantasy Fest. Sometime the trip is just for a weekend of drinking at Irish Kevin's or Margaritaville.

So what made this trip so interesting? Well, we went for our Babymoon. For those that don't know, a Babymoon is a “last hurrah” before having a baby. Babymoons are generally more on the relaxing side for obvious reasons... no skiing, no water sports, no drinking, etc.

The no drinking part is what made Key West "Interesting". My wife didn't care if I drank but since she couldn't, we had to come up with entertainment ideas that didn't revolve around drunken debauchery.

Most the weekend revolved around eating, relaxing around the pool. and more eating. Not being content to just relax we looked for alternative entertainment ideas. That's when she ran across the Key West Ghost Tours idea.
