Disney has announced the event dates and ticket prices for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2011
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an Annual Halloween Themed Event held at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
The event, as the name implies, is "not-so-scary", so it is suitable for children of all ages.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2011 will include many of the usual Magic Kingdom Attractions and special Halloween entertainment including special theme decorations (lighting, music and more), Disney Characters in special Halloween Costumes, Fireworks and a Disney Halloween Themed Parade.
Almost 6 Billion Dollars were spent on Halloween in 2010, but where did all that money go?
Well, according to a survey by the National Retail Federation (NRF), the most money was spent buying halloween costumes. Over 2 billion dollars were spent on halloween costumes in 2010.

The second largest amount of your halloween spending dollars went to Halloween Candy. 2010 Halloween Candy sales were roughly $1.775 Billion.
Halloween Decorations followed closely behind halloween candy with 2010 Halloween Decoration sales reaching approximately $1.652 Billion.
Also listed in the 2010 survey was Halloween Greeting Card Sales. Halloween Greeting Card Sales were an estimated $346 million.

Chris Stevens has grown a New World Record Giant Pumpkin. This massive pumpkin weighs in at a colossal 1810.5 pounds.
Chris' Giant Pumpkin trumps the previous record set in 2009 of 1,725 pounds by a full 85.5 pounds.
Chris has been growing giant pumpkins for several years and credits his success to a lot of work, and the right tools including BiotaMax Soil Probiotics.
Chris doesn't plan on resting with the current record. He's shooting for a New Giant Pumpkin World Record in 2011 so we'll check back around Halloween.

And the winner for 2010 Best Halloween Event is... Halloween Horror Nights Orlando
Once again Halloween Horror Nights has received a Golden Ticket Award from Amusement Today.
Golden Ticket Awards are presented to the Best of the Best in the industry as determined by a poll of experienced and well-traveled amusement park fans around the world.

This years Golden Ticket Award (2010) marks the fourth year in a row that Halloween Horror Nights Orlando stood above their peers in the amusement park industry to receive this Best of the Best status.
So what's in store for the 2011 Halloween Horror Nights? No one outside of Universal knows details, but it's sure to be a crowd pleaser.
